What is the Wild Woman Project?

The Wild Woman Project is both an inner and outer revolution which seeks to help women rediscover their instincts, intuition, and respect for the natural world.  Founded in 2010 by Chris Maddox, and based on the wild woman archetype from the book Women Who Run With the Wolves by Dr. Clarissa Pinkola-Estes, The Wild Woman Project’s mission is “to awaken women to their most authentic, undomesticated nature so they may feel like themselves, all the time, no apologies.  It is at once a philosophy (an invigorating approach to life as a wonderous, often messy, creative project) and a growing movement of creative, courageous, heart - centered (often weird and wonderful) women on a mission to remember, to reimagine what it means to be a woman - untamed.”

What can you expect when you attend a Wild Woman Project New Moon Circle?

For thousands of years, women have been gathering at new moon time to sit in circle, providing support, community, and a safe space to witness and be witnessed.  The Wild Woman Project’s new moon circles provide an opportunity for modern women to continue this tradition.  We will meet each month, on or near the new moon, for a deep dive into relevant topics and themes.  We will explore these themes through visualization/meditation, journaling, sharing time and intention setting.  This year, we will be exploring "The Faces of the Feminine".  Each month we will contemplate the many visages of a woman, from the divine to the mundane.  

New moon circles will be conducted online and facilitated by myself and Silver Raven of Silver Raven Tarot.  The cost to join is $10.

This New Moon we travel to unknown waters & swim with the mermaids that we may remember how to dream. Life is a dance between two seemingly separate worlds.
